Solaray Folic Acid (Vitamin B9) 800 mcg is a B vitamin essential for DNA replication and repair, normal cell division, and red blood cell formation. Folic acid is critical during pregnancy, where it actively participates in maternal and fetal tissue growth, and prevents neural tube defects when taken periconceptionally.
It contributes to the normal growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy and to the normal synthesis of amino acids, in accordance with EU Reg. 1924/2006.
