Solaray Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 1000 mg is an essential micronutrient with multiple roles in immunity, collagen synthesis, and antioxidant protection. Vitamin C is a cofactor for enzymes that stabilize and cross-link collagen molecules, which are essential for skin, cartilage, and blood vessels. It also participates in carnitine synthesis and in the immune response of neutrophils and lymphocytes.
It contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system, to the normal formation of collagen for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, and teeth, and to the antioxidant protection of cells, according to EU Reg. 1924/2006.
